Domain RegistrationWhat is a "Domain Name"?A Domain Name is a singular name that works as identifier for a website on the Internet. Each Domain Name therefore is a unique address indicating a location on the Internet. The domain name is used as part of a website address (e.g. www.mydomain.com) or email address (e.g. info@mydomain.com). How do I get a Domain Name?The first person to think of a domain name and register it gets it. Thus, it is a good idea to register a domain name as soon as you decide you want a web presence for your company. You can do this a long time before you actually build the site. If it is still available, you can register a domain name for about N5,000 per year. By getting your domain registered in your name or your company's name, you become the legal owner of your domain name. What are the Domain Naming Rules:A domain name can include up to 63 characters. You can use numbers,
letters, and dashes/hyphen (-) in your domain name but it cannot start or
end with a hyphen (-). Domains cannot contain spaces between words.
Special characters such as the underscore (_), exclamation (!), and the
(@) sign are also not permitted. Domain Names are not case sensitive -
therefore you can quote your domain or email address in mixed cases to
highlight any part of it (e.g. MyDomain is the same as mydomain or
MYDOMAIN).

"Hit Counter" which tells you how many people have visited your site. We
